Change image dimensions
Resizing changes an image’s pixel width and height. It is useful for website banners, social posts, profile images, email attachments, and any place with dimension requirements.
ToolsWeave uses your browser’s native image and canvas features, so you can resize a JPG, resize a PNG, or resize a WebP without waiting for an upload.
Choose one or more supported images.
Use a percentage, preset, or custom dimensions.
Process locally and review each preview.
Save one result or download the batch as a ZIP.
Aspect-ratio lock is on by default to prevent accidental stretching.
Unlock the aspect ratio when an exact width and height matter more than the original shape.
Percentages preserve each image’s size relationship, and presets fit varied images inside a shared boundary.
Image content remains on your device throughout the resizing and download workflow.
No. Image reading, resizing, previewing, and ZIP creation happen in your browser. The files are not sent to the ToolsWeave server.
You can resize static JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. Animated PNG and WebP files are rejected because resizing them with browser canvas would remove their animation.
It keeps the original relationship between width and height so the image is not stretched. In a mixed-shape batch, final dimensions can differ because each image keeps its own proportions.
With aspect ratio locked, a preset is a bounding box: each image fits inside that width and height without distortion. Unlock the aspect ratio if every output must use the exact preset dimensions.
Yes. Select up to 20 images and apply a percentage, preset, or custom dimensions. Each successful image can be downloaded separately, and two or more results can be downloaded together as a ZIP.
Pixel dimensions and file size are related, but they are not the same. Format, image detail, and browser encoding also affect bytes. If you need a smaller file after resizing, use the Image Compressor.
Start with the right framing in the Image Cropper, convert the resized image when another format is required, then compress the result when file size matters.
