What is an Image Workflow?

An image workflow is an ordered set of operations applied to the same image. Each step receives the previous step's result, so there is no need to download and re-upload between separate tools.

Enable only what you need, keep useful settings while a step is off, and rearrange the pipeline whenever order matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an image workflow?

An image workflow applies several editing and optimization steps in a chosen order, producing one final image without repeated downloads and uploads.

Can I crop and resize an image at the same time?

Yes. Enable Crop and Resize, configure both, and run the workflow once. The second step receives the result of the first.

Can I convert and compress an image together?

Yes. Choose JPG, PNG, or WebP in Convert, enable Compress, and set the final quality.

Are my images uploaded to ToolsWeave?

No. Image decoding, processing, previews, and downloads happen locally in your browser. Image files are not sent to ToolsWeave servers.

Does the order of the workflow matter?

Yes. Every enabled step receives the previous step's output, so cropping before resizing can produce a different result from resizing before cropping.

Can I change the order of processing steps?

Yes. Drag the reorder handle or use the accessible Up and Down buttons. The processing engine follows the displayed order.

Does the tool support JPG, PNG, and WebP?

Yes. It accepts static JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP images and can produce any of those formats supported by your browser.

Can I use the workflow on mobile?

Yes. The editor stacks vertically, uses touch-sized controls, and includes reorder buttons that do not require dragging.

Does converting PNG to JPG remove transparency?

JPG cannot store transparency. Transparent pixels use the selected background color, which is white by default.
