Ready for strict upload fields
Use a preselected limit instead of repeatedly changing a quality slider and checking the output.
Target-size image compressor
Reduce an image toward a 50KB file limit for compact forms, profile photos, and lightweight sharing. The 50KB target is already selected, so you can add an image immediately.
Your images are processed locally and never leave your device.
The compressor aims for this limit without changing image dimensions. Results depend on the source and format.
Size guidance
Fifty kilobytes is a strict limit for a detailed photograph. The compressor tests JPG and WebP quality levels and keeps the highest-quality browser result it finds at or below the target. If the limit is not achievable without resizing, it returns the closest useful result and labels it clearly.
PNG uses lossless compression in this workflow, so a complex PNG may remain above 50KB. For a form that accepts JPG, converting a photographic PNG first can be more effective. Keep a copy of the original whenever fine detail matters.
Add JPG, PNG, or static WebP files.
Keep 50 KB selected or edit it.
Let the browser search for a useful result near the limit.
Check the actual bytes and target status before download.
Use a preselected limit instead of repeatedly changing a quality slider and checking the output.
Compression changes encoding quality where supported; it does not silently crop or resize the image.
The image is decoded, compressed, previewed, and prepared for download in your browser.
Prepare a small portrait for a portal that enforces a 50KB maximum.
Reduce a profile image before adding it to a lightweight account or forum.
Create a smaller copy when download speed matters more than preserving every fine texture.
No. Large dimensions, heavy detail, and lossless PNG encoding can prevent a useful 50KB result. The tool reports whether the target was met.
No. Width and height remain unchanged. Use the Image Resizer first if the file must be both small and lower in pixel dimensions.
Yes. JPG is supported, and the tool automatically searches quality levels for a result at or below 50KB when possible.
No. Current compression and download preparation happen locally in your browser.
