How online log analysis works

Choose a file, paste records, or load a safe sample. The analyzer detects a supported format, parses records in a background worker, and builds endpoint, status, client, error, and time aggregates without sending the log away.

What the analyzer can establish

Available results depend on fields actually recorded. Access logs can reveal traffic and HTTP errors; application logs can group levels and exception signatures. Request latency, referrers, and user agents are shown only when present.

Private, local log analysis

Files are sliced and processed by a Web Worker in your browser. ToolsWeave does not upload log content, filenames, IP addresses, URLs, messages, or stack traces. Exports are also generated locally.

Online Log Analyzer FAQ

What log formats are supported?

The analyzer supports common Nginx and Apache access logs, Apache errors, Laravel logs, PHP errors, Serilog JSON and text, and newline-delimited JSON, with a safe generic text fallback.

Are log files uploaded?

No. Analysis runs in a browser Web Worker and the selected file is read in local chunks.

Can I analyze a large log file?

Yes. File input is chunked and aggregate counters are built incrementally. Full-file searches return 100 records per page and rescan the source when filters or pages change. Actual limits depend on the browser, individual entry size, and device.
